Nassau

Jessica thought we should take a trip for my birthday so we decided to go to Nassau; one of the islands neither of us had been to. It was nice, not the best, but nice. Warm weather, decent diving, and nice to get out of Utah for a while. Most of the pictures I took have some backscatter (the little particles in the pictures) because the strobe on the camera wasn't working quite right. The small flash went off and lit the little floaters up so that's what I got. The shark dive was the best dive of the trip, the pictures unfortunately are less than spectacular but here is a YouTube shot of the same dive site you can can get a better idea of what the dive was like:

We didn't dive with Stuarts Cove but here is a map of the different dive sites around Nassau:

On with the shark dive pictures

Thunderball/ Tears of Alla dive

This is the site where the shots of the UW ship sequence as well as the site for the "Tears of Alla" were shot. There are many "abandoned" movie sets UW around Nassau.

We also dove at the Hollywood Bowl where Splash, Cocoon, a few James Bond films and others had been shot. This was our last dive day and it was awesome. 30 ft max bottom, we could have stayed for 1.5 hours.
