TCI

Clouds on the way out to TCI at 40,000 MSL
Headed back to Provo last week, Providenciales Turks & Caicos that is. The diving wasn't all that good but it was nice to get back on the island for some R&R with my father-in-law. He had some business to take care of so I dove 2 days. I had the boat to myself so it was like a private charter at single diver rates. The last picture is the TCI way to pilot a dive boat- cooool runnins' mon!
Our view from our house, The 'Atlantica' and the "Boner" boat. Bill and Melinda Gates popped over for a few days and chartered the Atlantica- at $10,000 a day! Next time you fire up your Windows operating system, say to yourself, "Why didn't I think of making this?" Bonefish fishing is a big deal here, look close at the logo this guy had made for his "Boner"!!!

Hurricane Noel didn't really affect the island and we had 2 rain storms blow through which was nice. It was in the high 80's and low 90's with 75-80 relative humidity so it was a little hot.

We hit the usual haunts, The Conch Shack, Shark Bite, and others for good local seafood- if you haven't had conch try it the next time you can, my fav is Cracked Conch.

Of course we made a few visits to Turks Head the local microbrewery and had our fill. Jessica always wants to bring home a "potcake" and it was hard not to this time, maybe sometime in the future!
